Full Itinerary
Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Upon your arrival in Yangon, welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. If time permits sightseeing around the city. Welcome Dinner at the restaurant.
Day 2: Yangon Pagoda Tour (B)
Enjoy a private tour and drive through downtown to explore the city center and its fabulous mix of architecture and sites. The streets are filled with historical buildings many of which have a faded colonial charm not seen elsewhere in Asia. Learn about the fascinating history of the city as well as get a taste of the more modern side of the city.
Then visit the famous Reclining Buddha Pagoda, 70 meters long, and the feet of the statue are carved with traditional symbols, and often many locals gather to pay homage and pray. In the late afternoon set off to see the sunset at the breathtaking Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most beautiful sacred sites in all of Myanmar. The exterior of the stupa is plated with 8,688 solid gold slabs, its tip set with 5,448 diamonds and 2,317 rubies, sapphires, and topaz. A huge emerald sits in the middle to catch the first and last rays of the sun. At the pagoda observe local pilgrims and monks offering their devotions and enjoy the amazing sunset view at Shwedagon pagoda.
Enjoy the meal & drinks at the bar at the famous 19th Street China Town.
Day 3: Yangon – Bago Excursion – Yangon (B)
After breakfast drive to Bago, an ancient Mon capital city. On arrival in Bago, visit to the local market. Continue visit to over a thousand years old, Shwemawdaw Pagoda. Proceed to Shwe Tha Lyaung Pagoda, the reclining Buddha, which is among one of the country’s most impressive image statues, is 180 feet long and 52 feet high. Then proceed to Yangon on the way sightseeing at the Allied War Memorial Cemetery. Dinner at Rooftop Restaurant in Yangon
Day 4: Yangon Shopping (B)
After breakfast drive through the city and observe the influences of diverse other cultures in the region. Then enjoy a visit to Scott Market, the sprawling 90-year-old Market (closed on Monday and public holidays). Then visit some shopping centers in downtown Yangon and continue sightseeing around. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5: Yangon – Departure (B)
After breakfast day at leisure until transfer to the airport for the international flight.
