Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Luang Prabang
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel (check-in per hotel policy). Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town—with splendid natural scenery and rich cultural sights—make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. The rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the city.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2: Luang Prabang – City Tour (B)
After breakfast, enjoy a short guided tour to the city’s oldest temple Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, whose sweeping, low roofs exemplify classical Laotian architecture. Continue to the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Mai. Near sunset, climb Mount Phousi to its sacred gilded stupa for panoramic views of the city and the Mekong River. Afterwards, explore the vibrant Night Market, where you’ll find a lovely selection of handmade textiles by local and hill-tribe artisans.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: Luang Prabang – Kuang Si Waterfall – Pak Ou (B)
After breakfast, we drive to Kuangsi Waterfall, where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails. We return to the city by afternoon then take a cruise up to Mekong which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well time to explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine, after visited the Pak Ou Cave but Pha An Limb Stone Cliff don’t be missed. We then take a boat down to Luangprabang City by sunset time.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Transfer to Vang Vieng by Train (B)
An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual. After breakfast we visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts then it’s free time for Tea and Coffee then transfer to Train Station Vang Vieng, upon arrival we will drive around Vang Vieng City How is it? Then transfer to hotel.

Day 5: Vang Vieng – Explore (B)
After breakfast, we will have the good chance to visit “THAMNANGNONE” the Angle cave which will present you the very beautiful limestone cave inside with some stories and alike shapes of believed hidden lives. We will sail down on the river to visit “Tham Jang” another well-known beautiful limestone cave. Then spend the time for relax at Blue Lagoon.
You will never get lost to stroll around this small and colorful town.
Overnight in Vang Vieng.
Day 6: Vang Vieng – Transfer to Vientiane by Road (B)
After breakfast, drive to Vientiane (approximately 1.5 hours via highway). Upon arrival, visit the oldest temple Wat Sisaket, home to thousands of Buddha images, and the former royal temple Wat Prakeo (Haw Phra Kaew), which once housed the Emerald Buddha. Continue to the revered national icon That Luang Stupa and stop to take photos at the imposing Patuxay Monument, Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe.
Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 7: Vientiane – Departure (B)
After breakfast, browse Talat Sao (Morning Market) for shopping. Enjoy some free time for coffee or tea before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
