Note: Due to recent geopolitical tensions affecting global fuel prices, fuel costs have increased by around 30%. However, as part of our commitment to our partners, we will keep our tour prices unchanged until the end of December 2026.
Morning Itinerary
One of the most popular sites for Indians is Perfume Pagoda which we will visit today. Starting from the hotel at around 8 AM, our drive will be around 1.5 hours to Ha Tay – the new urban area of Hanoi, passing the countryside’s landscape.
On arrival, we will take a sampan boat along Yen River to Thien Tru Pagoda and walk up to the mountain for a panorama view of the surroundings. We then hike up to the mountain and get to Huong Tich cave, said to be ‘The most beautiful grotto’ by Lord Trinh Sam when he first visited the cave in the 17th century.
The entrance of the cave looks like an open mount of the dragon where we will take some steps down to a spacious cave with big statues of Buddha made of green stone and numerous stalactites and stalagmites.
Afternoon Itinerary
We then hike down for lunch in a local restaurant in the foot of the mountain or if you wish to experience the landscape from the height, there will be a cable car (with additional cost) to take you down. In the mid-afternoon, we will return to Hanoi and arrive at the hotel at around 5 PM. Trip ends.
