Morning
At 8:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel and begin the day with a peaceful boat cruise along the Perfume River, where the tranquil landscapes of Hue unfold before your eyes. Your first stop is the Thien Mu Pagoda, an elegant seven-story pagoda built in 1601, standing gracefully on a hill overlooking the river. The journey continues by van to the Tomb of Tu Duc, a harmonious blend of architecture and nature designed by the “Poet Emperor” himself, surrounded by gardens, pine trees, and lotus-filled lakes.
Afternoon
In the afternoon, explore the Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that served as the political and cultural heart of the Nguyen Dynasty for 143 years. Later, immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Dong Ba Market, Hue’s largest market, where stalls overflow with traditional fabrics, handicrafts, aromatic spices, and local delicacies.
By 5:00 PM, return to your hotel with a deeper appreciation of Hue’s history, culture, and timeless charm. The tour ends.
