Morning Itinerary
Pick up at our hotel in Hanoi, we will first visit some of the major highlights in the city including Ho Chi Minh Complex with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his stilt-house, and the unique One Pillar Pagoda. Our next stop is the Temple of Literature, the first University in Vietnam built under King Ly Thanh Tong’s dynasty to dedicate to Confucius and doctorates.
Afternoon Itinerary
After lunch in an Indian restaurant, we will take a 15 km drive out of the city center to Bat Trang Ceramic and Pottery village that lies by the Red River. On arrival, we will visit Bat Trang Ceramic Museum – the first ceramic museum in the North of Vietnam and then follow the village’s road to the ancient Communal House which was originally built in 1719.
We will also visit some workshops by artists Tran Van Do and To Thanh Son. If you wish, please try your skill by making your own ceramic products. Finish our day with a stop at an ancient French building from the 1920s, we will get in our car and drive back to Hanoi. Trip ends.
