Morning Itinerary
At 8 AM, our guide will arrive at the hotel and we drive to Ninh Binh province, which is 110 KM away from Hanoi.
On arrival, we will visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel where our guide will explain the history and significance of the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le.
We will wander around the temple surrounded by a lush garden, rice fields, and picturesque limestone mountains before getting back to our car and transferring to an Indian restaurant for lunch.
Afternoon Itinerary
In the afternoon, we will take a 2-hour boat rowing along the Ngo Dong River, passing through deep water rice to see Tam Coc (Three Caves).
Our pleasant rowing takes us to a scenic landscape set in Karst limestone, that’s why Tam Coc is called ‘Halong Bay in the land’. Our boat can transfer 2 – 3 people and is skilfully managed by local people, normally women, most of them are from Van Lam, the nearby famous embroidery village, no surprise if they try to offer you to buy some embroidery pillow cases or table cloths. Take it easy if you want to buy and try your bargain skill with a smile, everything will work well!
In the mid-afternoon, we will return to Hanoi and arrive at around 6 PM at our hotel. Trip ends.
