Capitals & Heritage Discovery – 4 Days

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City Tour 

Arrive at Noi Bai Airport, where our guide will greet you and transfer you to the hotel (check-in time from 2:00–3:00 PM; early check-in not included). In the afternoon, begin your Hanoi discovery with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you will see his stilt house, fish pond, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest in Hanoi, located by the peaceful West Lake, before exploring the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university built in 1070. Wrap up the day with a cyclo ride through the bustling Old Quarter, a maze of narrow streets lined with shops and cafés.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay Day Cruise – Joined in (B, L)

After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, check in at the cruise lounge and receive a welcome briefing before boarding. As the cruise sets sail, enjoy the dramatic scenery of thousands of limestone karsts rising from emerald waters. Visit Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, one of the most spectacular caves in Halong, before savoring a delicious lunch on board as you pass landmarks such as Ho Dong Tien Cave, Me Cung Cave, and Trong Cave.

In the afternoon, stop at Luon Cave for kayaking or a bamboo boat ride, then continue to Titop Island where you can relax on the sandy beach or hike up for a panoramic view of the bay. On the way back, enjoy afternoon tea on the sundeck, admiring sights like Heaven’s Gate, Dog Stone Islet, Incense Burner Islet, and Fighting Cock Islet. At around 5:30 PM, disembark and transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Trang An – Hanoi (B)

After breakfast, drive south to Ninh Binh Province. Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the 10th and 11th centuries, where the temples of King Dinh and King Le stand amid limestone mountains and rice fields. In the afternoon, embark on a tranquil boat ride through the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a UNESCO-listed site famed for its karst towers, hidden caves, and serene valleys. Depending on the water level, the boat may pass through three to six caves while you enjoy the rich biodiversity of the area. Return to Hanoi around 4 PM.

Day 4: Hanoi – Departure (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before free time for last-minute shopping in the Old Quarter or at modern shopping malls. Check out and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your departure flight.
