Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L, D)
Depart from your hotel in Hanoi for a scenic drive to Halong Bay, one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World, where thousands of limestone islands rise dramatically from emerald waters. Upon arrival, board a day cruise for a four-hour journey through this breathtaking seascape. A delicious lunch will be served on board as you sail past iconic formations such as Rocky Dog Islet, Incense Burner Islet, and Fighting Cock Islet, the symbol of Halong Bay. The highlight of the cruise is a visit to Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung) Cave, a spectacular grotto filled with glittering stalactites and stalagmites illuminated by colorful lights. In the late afternoon, return to the mainland and check into a seaside hotel overlooking the bay. Take some free time to relax or enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach before dinner featuring local specialties. In the evening, visit Halong Night Market, a vibrant spot filled with souvenir stalls selling handicrafts, jewelry, and unique Halong Bay-themed gifts. The second morning is all about relaxation and leisure. After breakfast at the hotel, the morning is yours to enjoy. You can take a peaceful walk or lounge on Halong’s newly developed beach, known for its soft white sand and turquoise waters. It is the perfect spot to soak up the fresh sea air and capture some final beautiful photos before the trip concludes. At noon, after checking out of your hotel, we will enjoy a final local lunch to savor more of the region's fresh seafood. Finally, the car will pick you up for the return journey to Hanoi, wrapping up a memorable 2-day discovery of Ha Long Bay.
