Morning Activities
Pick up at our hotel in Hue at 8 AM, we will have a full day exploring this ancient citadel with more than 100 architectural works related to the feudal system in Vietnam under 143 years of Nguyen’s reign from 1802 to 1945. We first start with a pleasant boat cruise in the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda (Lady Pagoda), one of the most ancient pagodas in Vietnam which was originally built in 1601.
Afternoon Activities
From here, rejoin our van and drive to visit the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc – the poet emperor which was picturesque set in the beautiful valley of Thuy Xuan. Back to the city center for lunch with Hue’s typical food, we will then visit the Imperial Citadel and the local Dong Ba market. We end the tour at the hotel at 5 PM.
