In the morning, depart at 8:00 AM for a scenic 1.5-hour drive to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang province. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, an impressive Buddhist temple blending Vietnamese, Khmer, and European architectural styles. Continue to explore local cottage industries where you can see how coconut candy, crispy rice popcorn, and honey tea are made, before strolling through fruit orchards and sampling tropical flavors. A sampan ride along lush, palm-shaded canals offers the most authentic way to experience the charm of the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a traditional Mekong-style lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, return to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving at your hotel around 5:00 PM. Tour ends.
